NSW flooding risk moves inland

Hundreds of residents continue being isolated by floodwaters along the New South Wales north coast as the risk moves inland.


About 2,000 citizens are currently isolated by floodwaters on the mid and far north coastline and a flood observe has now been issued for townships alongside the Nambucca River - such as Bowraville.


But with feasible further large rains forecast, the situation could drag on for citizens.

The Condition Unexpected emergency Services (SES) claims whilst there will probably only be small flooding, people are being urged to relocate livestock and equipment to higher floor.
